Very predictable absorption profile Retains 50% of the original tensile strength at 6 – 9 days after placement (depending on suture size, the bigger the suture, the longer they last). Loses all tensile strength after approx. 14 days and is completely dissolved after about 42 days. Minimal inflammation in tissue.
