IDactiv includes:

Safety Features

Bossklein IDactiv is safer for both users and instruments. Taking advantage of a quaternary ammonium compound as its active ingredient and unlike competitor solutions IDactiv does not contain:

• Chloride free – chloride causes corrosion in instruments and material surfaces.
• Alcohol free – alcohol is flammable and causes corrosion.
• PHMB free – Polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride (PHMB) is a carcinogenic chemical banned in EU for personal care products and expected to be banned in medical devices/biocides

Advanced Formulation

Actively removing debris from instruments before attacking micro-organisms that remain on the surface. IDactiv includes a powerful and environmentally friendly detergent, aiding in the removal of organic debris which can block disinfection. Safe to use as a manual cleaner inside an instrument bath but also in the Ultrasonic bath on multiple types of instruments and tools including; forceps, scalpels, luxators, elevators etc. The dual-purpose solution is also suited to work with rotating instruments such as burs, diamonds and polishers.

Microbial Efficacy

This highly effective formula has been tested to a variety of standards including EN 14476 for proven effectiveness against all enveloped viruses including Coronavirus, Hepatitis B and C and HIV. Unlike many other instrument disinfectants, IDactiv is fully Tuberculocidal for ultimate peace of mind. Also active against all Bacteria, Yeast and non-enveloped Viruses Adenovirus and Norovirus.
