DSI ApexSil is truly radio-opaque, 2-constituent root canal filler, conveyed in paste-paste arrangement.
Working time (at the room temperature) – 4 hours. Hardening time (inside canal) – 24 hours. After setting, the result is an inert amino polymer with good adhesion, low solubility and has no toxic effect on the tissues. The root canal is now effectively and hermetically sealed.
DSI ApexSil is characterised by excellent mechanical properties, high radiopacity, good dentine/root canal walls adhesion, combined with the low polymerization shrinkage, and solubility, and, not least a strong bactericidal effect.
