The curing light with 2 functions in 1 LAD biofilm control & Rapid curing of composites.
With the development of a new photosensitizer QROXB2, it is now possible to offer a light that with two different applications. Fast and efficient. No more under-cured composite fillings. Output power 4000 mW/cm2. Wavelength spectrum 460 to 470 nm. Light cure in 1-3 seconds and LAD treatment in 15 to 30 seconds per affected area. Very powerful battery capacity and longevity. Ergonomic pen grip. Can be operated by left hand or right hand. Lightweight less than 120 grams. Silent and easy to clean.
The FlasMax P7 offers many other benefits
LAD treatment what is it?
FlashMax P7 is used together with QROXB2 to eliminate microorganisms in the biofilm and is used as an adjunct in the treatment of various disease conditions or as part of the pre-treatment at the dentist. You can read more about this in the individual sections under biofilm control.
With the FlashMaxP7 concept, the composition of the biofilm is improved to act as a natural protective layer against external pathogenic bacteria.
Eliminating the pathogenic bacteria is an important part of the treatment, especially in patients with underlying medical conditions and other disorders that can result from the presence of pathogenic bacteria in a dysbiotic biofilm.
FlasMax®P7 is used for pre-treatment and as an adjunct to other dental treatments.
Pretreatment
Endodontic disinfection Surgical disinfection
Supplement to other dental treatment
A complement to dental treatment of Periodontitis Peri-implantitis Halitosis Oral candida infection Recurrent herpes infections Aphthous Oral lichen planus
Get cured fillings fast
For regular layered fillings, apply 1 second for each layer and 3 seconds for the final layer. It simply can't get any faster!
Ergonomics and working environment
FlashMax P7 is ergonomic, has a pen grip, and can be operated by both right and left hands. It can be turned around and operated from the top and bottom of the lamp, avoiding awkward postures. Lightweight. Low noise. A short time at the treatment chair benefits both patients and staff.
Hygiene and safety
CMS Dental supplies disposable plastic protective covers, specially designed for FlashMax P7, to avoid cross-contamination.
A hard plastic protective cover and a disposable tip ensure that the gingiva does not come into direct contact with the light source, thereby reducing the risk of tissue heating.
FlashMaxP7 light complies with ISO10650 requirements.
FACTS
Light Curing
FlashMaxP7 Cures composites that use camphor quinone as a photoinitiator. Orthodontic bonding. FlashMaxP7 with an output power of 4000 mW/cm2 cures each layer of composite in 1 second and the final layer in 3 seconds.
LAD
LAD stands for Light Activated Disinfection. It is a treatment using a light source with a specific wavelength together with a photosensitizer that can be activated by this light source. When the photosensitizer QROX B2 is applied where you want to kill bacteria, viruses, and fungi in the biofilm, the light is activated and the microbes are killed. The active ingredient in QROX B2 is riboflavin (Vitamin B2).
How does Light Activated Disinfection work?
The mechanism of light-activated disinfection is based on the formation of ROS (reactive oxygen species), also called reactive oxygen. It is highly reactive and effective for milliseconds before being inactivated. Oxygen and light must be present for the reaction to be initiated.
ROS destroy bacteria and fungi and inactivate viral DNA or RNA.
