12 ml Synthetic lubricant oil specially developed and made for high precision mechanical articulations. If regularly used, the lubricant oil extends the life and efficiency of the instruments. Non-toxic, odourless, transparent, silicon free. Pen-shaped. Used to lubricate surgical instruments to prevent their moving or touching parts from sticking together during use, to inhibit corrosion and improve instruments longevity. It may be a water-soluble solution, commonly known as instrument milk because of its white colour when mixed with water, in which the instruments are immersed, or it may be sprayed onto instruments; this is typically done prior to the instruments being sterilized. After application, this device cannot be reused. Pincers, needle holders, pliers, rongeurs, scissors, orthodontic pliers and all other instruments with articulation must be lubricated with the correct lubricant (Lubricating Oil CORICAMA - do not use household lubricants or lubricants that are not indicated for medical use). Lubrication: to prevent rust, corrosion and stiff joints and to ensure smooth operation: pliers, needle holders, hemostats, forceps, rongeurs, scissors, orthodontic pliers and all other hinged instruments should be lubricated with the proper lubricant (CORICAMA Lubricating Oil – do not use household lubricants or lubricants not suitable for medical use).
