LED HQ modules and XHL bulbs

For some of our instruments, a new upgrade in the form of a suitable LEDHQ module is now available as an alternative to the XHL bulbs. This eliminates the need to repeatedly change the bulb and the costs associated with doing so, as the durability of an LED in HEINE quality is virtually unlimited.

Availability

The LEDHQ upgrade is available for the following HEINE instruments (both 2.5 and 3.5 V):

• Otoscopes: BETA 400 F.O., BETA 200 F.O., K 180 F.O.
• Veterinary instruments: G100 slit illumination head, BETA 200 VET otoscope
• Ophthalmological instruments: BETA 200 and 200S ophthalmoscopes, BETA 200 retinoscope, Finoff Transilluminator

All of the XHL bulbs that are still available can also be found here if you follow the specified search path. They are split into 2.5 V and 3.5 V categories.
