Hypro-Sorb® F membrane Hypro-Sorb® F is a rigid, two-layer membrane made from 99.9% pure, crystalline atelo-collagen type I, which is obtained from the bovine Achilles tendon. Hypro-Sorb® F is 0.2 mm thick and has particularly high tensile and flexural strength due to densely packed collagen fibers. Therefore, for ease of use, we recommend soaking the membrane in saline or blood for at least 1 minute prior to use.
Membrane absorption occurs in two phases. Stays during the first six to eight weeks
Hypro-Sorb® F completely intact. The degradation process only begins after this time. The membrane is completely resorbed after six months.
