The 17 cm version of the "Mathieu" needle holder is well suited for sewing work in the back of the oral cavity due to its length. This instrument is from the range of needle holders with a slim mouth. It is equipped with carbide inserts (TC inserts) for a long service life and a firm grip on the needle to prevent it from twisting. The rotation lock then fixes the needle in position. A spring is also fitted between the branches to ensure that the needle holder opens automatically. This needle holder is suitable for thread sizes from 2-0 to 4-0.
