This needle holder is the longer version in this series with a total length of 170 mm, making it particularly suitable for suturing in the distal or posterior oral area. Behind the jaws, there is a built-in pair of scissors, eliminating the need to switch between instruments and allowing excess suture material to be cut directly. Tungsten carbide (TC) inserts are embedded in the jaws to provide the instrument with longevity and a firm grip on the needle. Easy opening and closing of the instrument is facilitated by the ring grip. This grip also houses the lock for stepwise adjustment of pressure on the needle. This needle holder is intended for suture sizes ranging from 2-0 to 4-0.
