PERIORAL® 5.0

Mechanism of action

PERIORAL® 5.0 is a hydrogel with ozonated organic olive oil with good adhesion which, after its application, undergoes solidification to fulfil different functions:

1. Filling the desired area to prevent the infiltration of food residues.
2. Preservation of the vertical volume at the application area.
3. Sealing the application area to prevent bacterial spread.

PERIORAL® 5.0 is recommended in periodontal prevention, in maintaining gum and root health of the tooth after scaling and root planning, in accelerating the healing of tissues subjected to surgical interventions.

Product information

PERIORAL® 5.0 is a ready-to-use medical device for topical applications. It should be stored in the dark at a moderately cool room temperature, preferably between 15°C and 25°C. PERIORAL® 5.0 applied in periodontal pockets, effectively combats periodontal disease and its recurrence.

Advantages

The product consists of two components: a semi-transparent and viscous gel to be applied to the affected area and a transparent and fluid hardening solution capable of inducing a gentle solidification of the gel. The more consistent compound thus obtained allows the sealing of the area, preventing food infiltration, significantly extending the durability and action time to at least three weeks.

Contraindications

No contraindications have been found with the use of PERIORAL® 5.0. It is not recommended in case of hypersensitivity to the components of the product or sensitivity to egg proteins. During pregnancy, the product should only be used if clearly necessary.

Composition

PERIORAL® 5.0 is mainly composed of hydrogel, biocompatible polymers, ozonated olive oil, hyaluronic acid and hardening aqueous solution.

Syringe assembly

Unscrew the Luer Lock cap of the syringe and insert the corresponding sterile needle.

Instructions for use

PERIORAL® 5.0 is an easy-to-use topical application product. A single application on the affected area is enough.

Precautions

PERIORAL® 5.0 should not be used for purposes other than those indicated and should not be applied in case of known hypersensitivity.

Warnings

Keep PERIORAL® 5.0 out of the reach of children, do not use if the packaging is damaged and respect the expiry date. Once opened, the product should be used and should not be released into the environment.

Conservation

Store PERIORAL® 5.0 in a closed place protected from light and heat, at room temperature (15-25° C). Validity is 30 months from the production date shown on the packaging.
