DSI Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE a.k.a. Teflon®) suture is a non-absorbable, sterile surgical monofilament suture composed of 100% polytetrafluoroethylene thread and a high-grade needle from imported heat-treated laser-sharpened stainless steel. The DSI PTFE suture is without any dyes and contains no additives; it is soft and supple.

Unique softness and smoothness minimise tissue trauma and prevents bacterial colonisation. No loosening of the knot. No tissue irritation. Firmly supports tissue during the healing process. The most comfortable suture with the highest patient satisfaction rate.

Product Details

DSI needles are made of 300-series surgical steel alloy and made as slim as possible without compromising strength, stable in the grasp of a needle holder, able to carry suture material through tissue with minimal trauma. DSI needles are laser-sharpened, rigid to resist bending, yet ductile to resist breaking, sterile, and corrosion-resistant
