The right needle for any indication

The best injection is the one your patient cannot feel. Our tissue-friendly needles are characterised by first-class steel and an innovative cut. They offer both dentist and patient the ideal conditions for agreeable and comfortable treatment.

Benefits

Experience the ease of a gentle injection - your benefits at a glance:

  • Less initial pain due to triple-bevel cut.
  • Silicone coating ensures optimal penetration of tissue
  • Safe handling due to high elasticity.
  • Fast and secure identification of the various needles with the rainbow colour coding system.
  • Wide range of models from exceptionally thin-walled (free flow), safely packed (blistered) to an extra short cut, made especially for intraligamentary anaesthesia.
  • Compatible with all common dental syringes.
Intuitive selection due to colour-coded needle length

The rainbow colour-coding makes it easier for you to select the right carpule needles and improves safety during use. The SOPIRA colour-coding is correspondent to the wavelengths of visible light and its colour spectrum: The longer the wavelength of the labelling colour, the longer the injection needle.

A multitude of variants for every requirement in your dental office
  • SOPIRA Carpule Free Flow are thin-walled with an enlarged internal diameter for low injection pressure
  • SOPIRA Carpule in blister packaging for better safety, especially during surgery
  • SOPIRA Carpule needles with a short bevel for intraligamentary anaesthesia.

Applications

  • Intraseptalis: Injection into the interdental bone septum for anaesthesia of the adjacent terminal nerve fibres.
  • Infiltration: Injection in the submucosa for anaesthesia of the terminal nerve fibres in the surrounding soft tissues and bones.
  • Intraligamentalis: Injection in the periodontal space for complete anaesthesia of the individual tooth.
  • Mandibularis: Injection in the immediate vicinity of the alveolaris inferior nerve for analgesia in the area distal to the injection site that is supplied by the nerve. The indications listed are general recommendations. However, specific anatomical particularities must be taken into consideration by the dentist when selecting the cross-section and length of the needle.
