Bone Morselizer
HARFINS GmbH · source
Bone Morselizer is used to grind blocks of bone into smaller particle sizes needed for grafting procedures. Bone grafting is a surgical procedure that replaces missing bone in order to repair bone fractures that are extremely complex, pose a significant health risk to the patient, or fail to heal properly.
This Bone Morselizer is comfortable to hold in hand, yet durable enough to use in a busy implant practice. The adjustment screw is used to move the Titanium Knurled Surfaces closer together or further apart. This helps to keep the two knurled surfaces from coming in direct contact with each other. Titanium Knurled Surfaces grind bone fragments into smaller particles.
To use the Bone Morselizer, place harvested bone in well of instrument (between knurled surfaces). Squeeze the instrument handle to close the housing and turn the T-Shap knob clockwise to Morselize the Bone. Bone is morselized between Knurled Titanium Surfaces. Push "T" handle to remove bone from instrument. The grind bone chips are ready to use for bone augmentation.
