CAMLOG Portfolio

The CAMLOG Portfolio offers a wide range of prosthetic components for different restoration concepts. Digital as well as conventional methods of fabricating dentures can be realized as cemented or screw-retained solutions.

Impression Taking Components

High-precision, screw-retained and antirotational components are available for impression taking – for the use of open or closed trays as well as digital impression taking. For cast fabrication, whether for the cast or printed version, you are provided with the corresponding lab analogs.

Open Tray Technique

The groove-cam connection enables highly precise impressions in a simple and safe manner, when using open-tray impression posts. A screw safety lock ensures that the screw can only be tightened when the impression post is correctly seated. The impression posts, color-coded according to the implant diameter, are matched to the geometry of the healing caps and are also available in a Platform Switching design.

Closed Tray Technique

The CAMLOG Impression posts for the closed tray technique are supplied sterile and include an impression cap. This is used to precisely reposition the post in the impression to transfer the clinical situation to the model. A screw safety lock ensures that the screw can only be tightened when the impression post is correctly seated. A bite registration cap to maintain the interocclusal distance during bite registration is also included in the scope of delivery. The impression posts are matched to the geometry of the healing caps and are also available in a Platform Switching design.

Scanbodies and ScanPosts

PEEK scanbodies or titanium ScanPosts for Sirona scanbodies are available for optical, three-dimensional localization of CAMLOG Implants in the mouth or lab analogs on the working model. They are used depending on the CAD infrastructure.

Bite Registration Posts

The bite registration posts are used for accurate implant-supported registration of the arch relations and their transfer to the cast situation. They are available color coded for all implant diameters. The posts are supplied with a bite registration cap and an integrated fixing screw.

Lab Implants and Lab Analogs

Depending on the impression component used and the intended prosthetic restoration, precise lab analogs and analogs for abutments and superstructures are available for cast fabrication and for impression taking at implant level or directly via the prosthetic components. Cast or printed fabrication are available as options. Specific analogs are available for Locator, ball, and bar abutments.

Abutments for Crown and Bridge Restorations

Esthetic reconstruction with crowns and bridges is subject to high standards for all those involved. A wide variety of abutments, prefabricated, customizable, or CAD/CAM fabricated, are available in various materials for a patient-oriented restoration.

Temporary Abutments

CAMLOG Implants can be temporarily restored with temporary PEEK abutments or titanium abutments. These are used in the esthetically critical area to preserve or physiologically shape the peri-implant soft tissue during immediate or delayed restoration. The abutments can be veneered directly and used as occlusally screw-retained restorations. Temporary abutments made of titanium alloy are each available in crown and bridge versions.

Esthomic and Universal Abutments

Anatomically preformed abutments allow for optimal soft tissue development. The CAMLOG Esthomic Abutments with oval anatomically pre-formed shoulder profile are available both in a straight and an angled version of different gingival heights and optionally in Platform Switching design. The A and B versions (60° offset cam arrangement) of the angled Esthomic Abutments allow the correct prosthetic axis alignment. Double crowns can be realized with the Universal abutments (optionally also for Platform Switching) or CAD/CAM Abutments of the DEDICAM® brand.

Titanium Bases CAD/CAM

CAMLOG Titanium bases CAD/CAM are the first choice for customized, implant-supported dentures. They act as a bonding base for crown and bridge restorations made from suitable materials using CAD/CAM techniques. The new titanium base CAD/CAM free enables the fabrication of prosthetic constructions with an angled screw channel. It is suitable for the fabrication of screw-retained single crowns or hybrid abutments. Different chimney and gingiva heights as well as variants with Platform Switching (PS) offer you maximum flexibility.

CAM Titanium Blanks

Customized, one-piece titanium abutments and healing caps can be fabricated with CAM titanium blanks on CNC milling machines. The CAM titanium blanks contain a prefabricated implant-abutment connection with screw channel. CAM titanium blanks are available in two designs:

Type IAC:
Clamping to the machine is performed at the implant-abutment connection. The system-relevant collets for CAM blanks, type IAC, are available as primary clamping devices for this type.

Type ME:
Clamping to the milling machine is performed on the cylindrical section opposite the implant-abutment connection. Abutment holders for the Preface® Abutments from Medentika® can be used as machine-specific clamping devices. These collets are available for suitable CNC milling machines from the respective machine manufacturers.

A corresponding CAD and CAM libraries as well as suitable holders and brackets are required for processing both blank variants. Information on the compatibility of the CAMLOG CAM titanium blanks with CNC milling machines is available from the respective manufacturers of the machines and software.

CAD Libraries:
CAD libraries with the geometries of the CAMLOG CAM titanium blanks and the CAMLOG or optionally 3Shape® Scanbodies enable the design of one-piece titanium abutments and healing caps. Also included as options are the CAMLOG Implant analog or nt-trading DIM implant analog geometries, which can each be used to generate printable models in the CAD software. Libraries are available for downloading from our Media Center.

DEDICAM One-Piece Titanium Abutments

With DEDICAM®, Camlog offers comprehensive services for the centralized manufacturing of individual CAD/CAM-manufactured implant prosthetics made of high-quality materials. The anatomically designed emergence profile of customized abutments optimally supports the surrounding soft tissue and achieves natural esthetics.

Gold-Plastic Abutment

The CAMLOG® Gold-plastic abutment can be used with the cast-on technique to fabricate a multitude of customized implant restorations, such as single crowns, mesostructures for cementable bridge restorations, and primary abutments for bridging implant axis divergences in the double crown technique.

Geroprosthetics Solutions

Geroprosthetics is an important field in implant dentistry. Various abutments or anchoring systems are available for hygiene-compatible, age-appropriate restorations on implants – both for screw-retained and removable dentures.

CAMLOG ODSecure System

The CAMLOG ODSecure (Over-Denture Secure System) abutment uses the industry's lowest profile connection to attach dentures and partial dentures to dental implants. With gingiva heights ranging from 1.0 to 6.0 mm, the CAMLOG ODSecure provides attachment solutions for even the most challenging cases. The abutment is designed for easy handling using an 1.25 mm screwdriver, hex, and is color-coded to ensure that the abutment matches the implant platform every time.

Locator Abutment

Satisfactory denture retention can be achieved relatively easily with the Locator® Attachment system on implants. For older patients it is simple to insert and remove the restorations. The Locator® Abutments are available in different gingival heights and the holding force can be easily adjusted using different strength nylon inserts.

Locator R-Tx Abutment

Due to an improvement in the design, Locator R-Tx® Abutments, the successor to the well-known Locator® Anchoring system, allow greater divergence between two implants intended for restoration. The coating has also been optimized. Compared to the conventional Locator® abutments, the Locator R-Tx® Abutments are offered in a practical ALL-IN-ONE packaging. The Locator R-Tx® Abutment is thus supplied with the retention housing, the processing replacement male, the block-out spacer, and the four specific R-Tx® replacement males.

Ball Abutment

For decades, the ball abutment has been a proven anchoring system for stabilizing full dentures. The abutment is composed of a ball-shaped male part and a matrix CM Dalbo®-Plus.

Dalbo®-Plus is a registered trademark of Cendres + Métaux SA, Bienne, Switzerland.

Occlusally Screw-Retained Restorations

Occlusally screw-retained restorations are state-of-the-art. Here, Camlog provides two options in its portfolio. Both the Multi-unit System as well as the COMFOUR® System offer edentulous patients the option of immediate, comfortable and fixed restorations on four or six implants – and thus a considerable gain in quality of life. Clinicians too, can look forward to considerably greater comfort and freedom.

Multi-Unit System

The Multi-unit system provides several treatment options. In addition to occlusal screw-mounted bridges for immediate and delayed restorations, the multi-option system also permits removable bar and ODSecure® restorations (an alternative to Locators®). The Multi-unit components offer a wealth of options for treating the patient within a short period of time. In addition to the one-piece straight Multi-unit abutments, angled abutments with 17° and 30° are also available in different gingival heights and diameters.

COMFOUR System

The basis for each COMFOUR restoration is provided by the bar abutment in straight or angled design. The bar abutments, which are color coded based on the implant diameters, are available in straight and 17° and 30° angled versions as well as in various gingival heights. Bridges and bars for the COMFOUR system are available from Camlog in first-class quality from our CAD/CAM service division DEDICAM®.

Next to bridge or bar restorations, the COMFOUR Bar abutments can also be used to realize occlusal screw-retained crown constructions. The single crown restoration can be fabricated optionally with a titanium cap for crowns, or by using a crown base for bar abutments (for burn-out).
