Curasept ADS I DNA mouthwashes, toothpastes and gels, based on Chlorhexidine, are specific for activating a deep antibacterial and antiseptic action, essential for intervening effectively on bacterial biofilm (bacterial plaque).
Chlorhexidine is the only substance known to date that can act with 4 fundamental interventions on plaque:
INTERVENTION ON ADHESION
Chlorhexidine prevents bacteria from adhering to the surface of the teeth.
INTERVENTION ON COLONIZATION: ANTISEPTIC ACTION
Chlorhexidine, at the usual concentrations of use, has the ability to destroy numerous types of bacteria
INTERVENTION ON DISINTEGRATION
Chlorhexidine, in addition to acting against bacteria, is able to break the chemical bonds of calcium with glycoproteins, effectively disaggregating the structure of plaque in each of its layers.
INTERVENTION ON METABOLISM: SUBSTANTIVITY
After use, Chlorhexidine is gradually released into the oral cavity for approximately 12 hours, allowing for a prolonged action that stimulates the disintegration of plaque layers and the destruction of bacteria throughout the oral cavity, as well as preventing the formation of plaque itself.
