FenderMate Temp is the all-in-one solution for safe and easy preparation and filling of temporary proximal restorations. FenderMate Temp is a stainless steel matrix on a plastic wedge that is easily placed in the proximal area prior to preparation. It protects the adjacent tooth from iatrogenic damage and minimises blood contamination from the gingival pocket. After preparation, FenderMate Temp can be easily bent to follow the anatomy of the tooth, creating a matrix for a temporary filling with an acceptable contact. If a rubber dam is not used, it is recommended that FenderMate Temp is secured with waxed dental floss.
