Futulight LED Headlight

Know Your Device

The Futulight package includes the following parts:

1. Battery pack
2. LED headlight
3. USB charging cable
4. EU power plug
5. North American power plug
6. Storage case
7. Connection for headlight cord
8. Connection for charging cord
9. Light intensity knob

DO NOT PLACE THE LIGHT OR BATTERY ON FLAMMABLE SURFACES WHEN IN USE. DO NOT AIM LIGHT DIRECTLY IN TO EYES. INDOOR USE ONLY.

How to Set-Up and Use

1. Install the headlight attachment on to the top of the camera.
2. Slide the LED headlight on to the attachment and place the cord in to the cable spiral on the loupes.
3. Align the light and camera to point at the same location.
4. Plug the headlight in to the battery pack. To remove the cord again, press the small black button on the connector and pull the cord out.
5. Clip the battery pack to a belt or pocket.
6. Twist the top knob to turn the light on or adjust light intensity.
7. Rotate the light filter to switch between orange and white light.

Recharging the Battery

• Charge Time = approximately 10 hours
• Battery Life: 9 hours at full intensity / 13 hours at 50% intensity.
• Charge Level Indicator Lights: 4 blue lights + Charging Light.
• When all 4 blue lights are on the light is fully charged.
• Recharge using the chargers supplied in the futulight package.

DO NOT LEAVE THE BATTERY IN HOT PLACES. DO NOT GET WET. DO NOT DISASSEMBLE OR MODIFY. DISPOSE ACCORDING TO NATIONAL REGULATIONS.

Light Cured Composites

It is not recommended to use this LED light while using light-cured composites.

If you do:

• Set the LED light intensity as low as possible. This may allow you to quickly work with the composite before hardening.
• Use the orange filter when using light-cured materials.

It is recommended that the patient wear protective glasses when the futulight is in use.

Maintenance

• Wipe clean with a lint-free cloth and alcohol-free disinfectant.
• Check the cables for wear or broken insulation.
• When cuts or punctures are visible on the cord, the light is no longer safe to use. Stop using immediately.

DO NOT AUTOCLAVE. DO NOT SUBMERGE OR SPRAY WITH LIQUID.
