GENGIGEL® Perio patented formulations combine the special functional characteristics of GENGIGEL® products with the properties of chlorhexidine recognised by the dental profession. Thanks to the combined action of high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid and chlorhexidine digluconate, it helps prevent the onset of gum disease produced by accumulation of biofilm, the main etiological agent of periodontal disease. All GENGIGEL® Perio formulations contain Anti-Colour Complex (ACC) that limits the reversible tooth-enamel pigmentation process caused by long-term use of chlorhexidine-based products.
