1. WHAT HERBADENT GUM SOLUTION IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR

HERBADENT Gum Solution is used without consulting a doctor for gum massage, especially in cases of periodontitis, gingivitis, and for treating pressure sores (e.g., caused by dentures).

After consulting a doctor, it is also used to prevent gingival inflammation after dental splints and intermaxillary fixation, to treat mucosal changes associated with severe skin and mucous membrane reactions (erythema multiforme, pemphigus), or after traumatic damage to the oral mucosa. Additionally, it's used for inflammation of the oral cavity with ulcers or blisters (aphthous stomatitis, herpetic gingivostomatitis) and as supportive treatment for secondary infections of oral mucosa after surgical dental procedures.

The product is intended for adults.

2. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU USE HERBADENT GUM SOLUTION

Do not use HERBADENT Gum Solution

– if you are allergic to herbal extract for HERBADENT, salicylic acid, benzocaine, or any other ingredients of this product (listed in section 6).

Children and adolescents

Safety and effectiveness in children and adolescents under 18 years of age have not yet been established.

3. HOW TO USE HERBADENT GUM SOLUTION

Always use this product exactly according to the package leaflet or the instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist. If unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

HERBADENT Gum Solution is applied undiluted. It is intended for gum massage and treatment of mucosal changes.

Gum massage: Apply the undiluted solution to a cotton swab and massage the gum edges around each tooth approximately 10 times. Perform this once daily, preferably in the evening after brushing teeth.

Application on mucosal changes: Apply the solution to the affected area using a cotton swab saturated with the undiluted solution.

Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve within 7 days or worsen. Do not use longer than 4 weeks without consulting a doctor.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Like all medicines, this product may cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. When used as recommended, no side effects have been observed. Allergic reactions may occur in people sensitive to any ingredient.

5. HOW TO STORE HERBADENT GUM SOLUTION

Keep this product out of sight and reach of children.

Storage: Store at temperatures up to 25°C. Keep the container tightly closed to protect from moisture.

Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the package after "Použitelné do:".

The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.

What HERBADENT Gum Solution contains

Composition: 1 original package (25 ml) contains:

Active substances: Herbarum extractum fluidum for Herbadent (herbal extract for Herbadent) 22.5 ml, salicylic acid 0.25 g, benzocaine 0.0625 g.

Excipients: boric acid, citric acid monohydrate, peppermint oil, clove flower oil, common fennel fruit oil, ethanol 96% (V/V), purified water (part of the extract).

Composition of the extract:

• Agrimoniae herba (agrimony herb): 5.0 g
• Matricariae flos (chamomile flower): 2.0 g
• Salviae officinalis herba (sage herb): 2.0 g
• Tormentillae rhizoma (tormentil rhizome): 1.0 g
• Ethanolum 96% (V/V) (ethanol 96%): 77.0 g
• Aqua purificata (purified water): 18.5 g
