ICEBERG Biomimetic Implant
An innovative, functional implant designed to achieve outstanding biological and aesthetic results. Its transmucosal neck with a convergent profile promotes the formation of soft tissue around the implant. Additionally, its anodised finish ensures seamless integration with surrounding tissues.
Key Features
01 Polished neck
It features a polished and anodised neck to enhance integration with soft tissues. Additionally, the neck sealing ensures the preservation of peri-implant tissues.
02 Micro-threaded neck
The implant has micro grooves that provide excellent primary stability. Improving the bone-implant contact and distributing tension forces across the cortical area.
03 Progressive thread design
Its asymmetric double-thread design allows the implant to fully adapt to different bone areas. This ensures a one-stage surgery.
04 Apex
The apical end of the ICEBERG implant, with its tip-radius geometry and self-tapping design, facilitates smooth implant entry and progression during insertion, ensuring a less traumatic procedure.
Indications
- Indicated in cases with sufficient gingival thickness
Clinical Benefits
- Provides excellent primary stability throughout the implant body
- Great primary stability throughout the implant area
- Excellent soft tissue management, thanks to its transmucosal neck
Drilling Protocol
The ICEBERG implant system is designed for a simple and intuitive surgical workflow. It shares a surgical kit with the OCEAN implant and features bur geometry that makes the drilling procedure simple and precise.
Instruments and Surgical Kit
The surgical drilling protocol for the Avinent ICEBERG system is suitable for all bone types. The system offers burs with an external geometry available in three diameters and a straight cut, perfectly tailored to the implant design. The matte finish of the burs makes it easier to locate the length indicator marks during surgery. The burs are used at lower speeds than other systems, allowing for the recovery of autologous bone.
ICEBERG and OCEAN system kit
It stands out for its clear layout and attractive, simple design. The drilling sequence is clearly indicated by a simple colour code based on the selected ICEBERG or OCEAN implant diameter. All the pieces are placed in a sterilisable tray with a transparent lid that allows for full visibility of the contents.
Implant Packaging
Avinent presents its ICEBERG implants in packaging that is easily identifiable through a simple colour-coding system. The vial cap is colour-coded according to the implant diameter and features an adhesive label that indicates the connection type, diameter, and length of the implant.
The Avinent implant system is sold in a sterile blister pack. This packaging ensures full protection of the implant until its expiration date, as long as it is stored under the correct conditions.
Avinent provides all its products with labelling that ensures proper traceability, featuring adhesive labels that can be used in the patient's history or any required documentation.
