Mineral Trioxide Aggregate material for Vital Pulp Therapy (VPT). Biocompatible and monomer-free. Used for cavity lining, indirect and direct pulp capping, and treatment of the pulp following vital amputation (partial or complete pulpotomy). Releases calcium and hydroxide ions to stimulate regeneration and formation of tertiary dentine. High pH value (12) with bacteriostatic effect. Radiopaque (290% Al). Free of bismuth oxide and ferrous compounds — no product-related discolouration.
