PA FILES

PA FILES are endodontic hand files designed for negotiating severely curved root canals. Key features include superior flexibility to navigate severe curvatures, efficient debris removal while maintaining canal patency, compatibility with reciprocating motion for safer preparation, and reduced risk of transportation or perforation. In Dr. Ana Planinic's case study, PA files were used in an endomotor with reciprocating motion (90/60 angle setting) to successfully treat a tooth with extremely curved root canals that resisted conventional preparation with manual K-files. The files allowed successful negotiation of the canals and reach the apex.
