PERIOFLOW® Nozzle Markings

PERIOFLOW® Nozzle has markings at specific intervals (3mm, 5mm, 7mm and 9mm) to help measure the depth of a periodontal pockets.

Indications

PERIOFLOW® MAX and PLUS Powder are indicated for:

• Subgingival biofilm removal (debridement) in up to 9 mm periodontal¹ and peri implant² pockets
• Initial and follow-up (SPT) periodontal therapy³

The PERIOFLOW® MAX Nozzle is a single-use, flexible nozzle designed specifically for subgingival biofilm removal during step five of Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). It is used exclusively with the PERIOFLOW® MAX Handpiece.

When should I use the PERIOFLOW® Nozzle?

Use the PERIOFLOW® Nozzle when treating periodontal pockets with probing depths greater than 4 mm and up to 9 mm. It is designed for safe and effective biofilm removal in these subgingival areas.

Can I reuse the PERIOFLOW® Nozzle?

No. The PERIOFLOW® Nozzle is single-use and disposable. It comes in a box of 40 individually packaged nozzles to ensure hygiene and patient safety.

How does the nozzle help with depth measurement?

Each PERIOFLOW® Nozzle is clearly marked at 3, 5, 7, and 9 mm, allowing clinicians to visually monitor and control insertion depth. This helps eliminate the need for separate probing prior to treatment.
