The parabolic grinding on the tip of the instrument and the diamond-shaped plateau ensure gentle penetration into the interdental space / periodontal gap. The specific shape enables four luxation movements, two each in the mesial and distal direction, through a 180° rotation of the instrument. During the luxation process, 5-7 hypomochlies (rotation and support movements) are performed, making the instrument clearly superior to conventional levers. The serrated edge of the instrument also promotes dislocation.
Axial levering stress on the instrument tips can lead to fracture. The Pivot-Point instruments are not intended for axial levering use. Non-compliance with the instructions for use can lead to breakage. We accept no liability for such damage!
