Radiography image quality phantom The RAD-DIGIX-4 Phantom Kit is used to check image quality performance of digital X-ray systems using single exposure. These image quality tests are performed on the acceptance test of an X-ray machine to establish a baseline, and on a routine basis. By keeping an on-going record of the test results, it is easy to find any deterioration in performance. RAD-DIGIX-4 should be used with Al attenuator plates, included in the kit. The following image quality tests can be performed in a robust repeatable fashion: Patient dose – requires additional dosemeter Light intensity – requires additional lux meter Dynamic range Limiting spatial resolution Contrast resolution Homogeneity Geometry / Scale Light field to X-ray field alignment Beam Centering Test equipment included in the set: RAD-DIGIX-4 phantom (with beam centering tower) Patient-equivalent attenuator (25 mm Al) Vertical hanger-type holder USB stick with product manuals Protective case Designed in accordance with standards DIN 6868-13 Download the Specification Sheet
