Universal powder stains and glazes for monolithic restorations and layered ceramics
VINTAGE Art Universal stains and glazes give monolithic zirconia and lithium disilicate restorations depth for a lifelike appearance – only by staining, without any layering.
The powders can also be mixed with the normal Vintage Art Universal LIQUID to traditionally stain and glaze layered ceramic restorations (2D staining technique). Depending on the substrate, users can choose between fluorescent and non-fluorescent glazing powder.
Applications:
- For traditional staining and glazing of layered ceramic restorations (2D staining technique)
- For the creation of 3D effects on monolithic restorations (3D staining technique)
- For all low-fusing layered ceramics, monolithic and veneered zirconia, pressed ceramic frameworks, metal-ceramics and porcelain teeth
- For producing or processing full or reduced-contour monolithic restorations made by CAD/CAM
- Usable irrespective of CTE, at firing temperatures of 730 to 850 °C
- Well-matched to SHOFU´s layered, pressed and CAD/CAM ceramics
Indications
Vintage Art Universal is intended to be used for shade adjustment of ceramic restorations.
VINTAGE Art Universal Highlights
- Fine and dense powder stains for vibrant colours and good opacity
- Fluorescent and non-fluorescent glazes
- Excellent surface adaptation
- Well-matched to lithium disilicate and zirconia
When mixed with Yamamoto "True-Color Mixing Liquid", however, VINTAGE Art Universal stains and glazes show their real strength: Mixing with this special liquid creates the illusion of spatial depth on a monolithic material (3D staining technique).
What is more: Thanks to the glass-like light refraction index of Yamamoto Liquid, users can already see the final colour and translucency during mixing and application – before the restoration is fired.
Shades:
- Base Color Stains: 9 primary, secondary and achromatic colours for basic shade adjustment and characterisation
- Color Stains: 12 effect powders, producing the desired shade without any complicated mixing and helping to create any complicated mixing and helping to create lifelike restorations in a wide variety of cases
- Shade Stains: 6 powder stains for adjusting the intensity (chroma) of each shade group
