500W high-frequency "air-free" electrospindle

The 100,000 rpm 500W electrospindle means that dental technicians do not have to buy a specific compressor.

Machinable materials

It can mill all soft materials such as wax, PMMA, pre-sintered cobalt-chrome and PEEK, as well as harder materials such as glass ceramics and composites.

Axis angle up to ±30°

Thanks to the spindle angle of up to ±30°, Vortex can carry out highly complex machining with high undercuts. The open "C" disc allows for 90° milling.

24 tools with automatic changeover featuring high-precision sensor measurement and verification technology.

Movement on 5 axes

Linear movement on 3 Cartesian axes with recirculating ground ballscrews driven by brushless motors with absolute encoders for continuous position control, while the 2 rotary axes use the same motors with low-backlash planetary gearboxes.

Wet milling

The machining of hard materials such as composites and glass ceramics requires lubrication; the machine has two filters and a collection tank with a closed circuit pump.

Dry milling

The machine has airtight protective bellows on all axes. The connection to the central vacuum system prevents dust from escaping into the room.
