Xenys is the line of natural bone substitutes of equine origin developed and produced by Tiss'You through its own patented process EstRem (Esterification Cell-Removal Technology – patent number WO2020058813A1). This innovative tissue processing treats all connective tissues of animal origin to obtain totally biocompatible tissue substitutes, preserving the fundamental biological features useful for the regeneration process.
Xenys DEM grafts, following the EstRem treatment, undergo a controlled partial demineralization process that gives them incredible flexibility while preserving their three-dimensional structure. This allows for the availability of spongy bone blocks as soft as a sponge and extremely flexible cortical bone sheets, adapting to the specific needs of reconstructive surgical procedures.
