XO ODONTOSON 360 – Instruments

XO ODONTOSON 360 is a comprehensive range of ultrasonic dental instruments organized by application area:

PROPHYLAXIS

209010 - Heavy Duty straight Particularly useful for removal of supra- and subgingival calculus labially and lingually.

209080 - Universal For removal of supra- and subgingival stain and calculus in all areas. For general scaling for those patients with moderate plaque or calculus.

209014 - Heavy Duty left For removal of supra- and subgingival calculus, in particular in the 2nd and 4th quadrants.

209012 - Heavy Duty right For removal of supra- and subgingival calculus, in particular in the 1st and 3rd quadrants.

ENDODONTIC TREATMENT

209070 - Endo Ultrasonic cleaning and canal preparation. Provides smooth canals and easy introduction of Gutta Perchas. Can only be used with XO Odontoson Endo files, ISO sizes 15, 25 & 40.

209093 - Retro-instrument left For retrograde filling.

209096 - Retro-instrument right For retrograde filling.

PERIODONTIC TREATMENT

209030 - Perio Removes supra- and subgingival stain and calculus in all areas. Particularly useful for removal of calculus in pockets up to 13 mm deep. Can be used with antibacterial irrigants to provide reduction of depth of pathological pockets. Use the tip as if using a periodontal probe. REMEMBER: keep the tip moving with short strokes at all times.

SPECIAL INSTRUMENTS

209034 - Thin Line straight Useful for fine planing after gross scaling using other ODONTOSON instruments. Provides good furcation access. Is also useful for root planing, but only after gross debridement with Perio instrument.

209036 - Thin Line right Provides excellent furcation access in the 1st and 3rd quadrants. Similar tactile feeling as with a periodontal probe. To be used only after gross debridement with Perio instrument.

209038 - Thin Line left Same characteristics and applications as Thin Line, right. Particularly suitable in the 2nd and 4th quadrants.
