Zaferan is a dimethacrylate based, blue shaded light curing gel like block out resin. Zaferan is used for the fabrication of bleaching tray, repair of laboratory models, fabrication of fluoride tray, blocking out of undercuts, fabrication of interim acrylic removable partials dentures and joining of dies. It is designed for only dental laboratory use.
