AIRFLOW® PERIO powder is ideal for:
- Supra and Subgingival biofilm removal, including periodontal pockets up to 9 mm deep.

- Children requiring gentle prophylaxis.

AIRFLOW® PERIO Powder is a glycine-based prophylaxis powder specifically formulated for both supragingival and subgingival biofilm removal. Its fine particle size of approximately 25 µm and low specific gravity make it gentle on soft tissues, gingiva, palatal areas, and natural tooth and implant surfaces. This powder is particularly effective in periodontal and peri-implant biofilm management.
Contraindications
AIRFLOW® PERIO Powder should not be used in patients with known allergies to glycine (also known as glycocoll).
Limitations
AIRFLOW® PERIO Powder is not recommended for the removal of stains, fissures, or early calculus. For such cases, EMS recommends using AIRFLOW® PLUS Powder, which is formulated for these specific applications.
