BEAUTIFIL II

Continually fluoride releasing aesthetic restorative material

BEAUTIFIL II stands out for its aesthetic appearance and excellent shade match, its exceptional handling properties and its anti-plaque effect. The patented filler technology combines the light transmission and diffusion properties of natural teeth. This allows you to create natural-looking restorations with only one layer.

Due to its S-PRG fillers this composite of the GIOMER category has the property to release and recharge fluoride, based on the concentration of fluoride in the mouth.

The surface hardness of the inorganic fillers in BEAUTIFIL II is enamel-like and antagonist-friendly. This makes the material suitable for both anterior and posterior restorations.

BEAUTIFIL II Highlights

  • Light transmission and diffusion properties of natural teeth
  • Shade stability
  • Anti-plaque effect
  • Tooth-like fluorescence
  • High radiopacity
  • Substainable fluoride release and recharge
  • Reliable strength and longevity

Applications

Direct restorations that require optimal aesthetics and biocompatibilty, like:

  • Restorations of class I – V cavities
  • Restoration of cervical erosion and root caries
  • Repair of fractured incisal edges
  • Veneers and core build-ups
  • Direct cosmetic tooth corrections

Fluoride release and recharge

The S-PRG fillers contained in BEAUTIFIL II have the ability to release and recharge fluoride, depending on the fluoride concentration in the mouth. The strength and stability of the composite remain unaffected.

The release of fluoride takes place exactly where it can take full effect. The natural tooth structure in contact with the restoration is effectively protected from caries by permanent local remineralisation.

BEAUTIFIL II recharges fluoride ions from external sources, such as fluoride rinses, professional fluoride treatments or toothpastes.

Natural light transmission

BEAUTIFIL II can reproduce the light transmission and diffusion of natural teeth thanks to its unique filler technology. This perfect match allows you to create invisible restorations with the optical features of dentine and enamel.

Shade stability

The shades of BEAUTIFIL II do not change during sculpting or during and after light curing. So you can be sure you are using the right shade when layering the material.

Outstanding handling properties

BEAUTIFIL II is easy to shape and adapt to the prepared tooth structure. Its viscosity only slightly depends on temperature, ensures stability during sculpting and prevents the material from sticking to the instrument.

The convenient "one-touch cap" of the syringe allows you to easily dispense and accurately apply the composite.

Fluorescence

BEAUTIFIL II features tooth-like fluorescence. The impact of optical influences, such as UV light, is minimised.

Extraordinary radiopacity

The composite is 1.7 times more radiopaque than enamel and 3 times more than dentine, for reliable visual X-ray diagnostics.

Optimum polishability

Due to the average particle size of 0.8 μm and the use of nanofillers (10-20 nm), BEAUTIFIL II is quick and easy to polish.

The resulting homogenous surface supports the anti-plaque effect.

Wide range of shades

BEAUTIFIL II comes in 14 different shades. The universal shades A1, A2, A3, A3.5, A4, B1, B2, B3, C2 and C3 have been specially designed for an efficient one-layer technique. The opaque dentine shades A2O and A3O are particularly suitable for multi-shade layering.

The enamel shade Inc offers the highest translucency for aesthetically demanding anterior restorations. For the treatment of bleached teeth, you can use the Bleaching White shade BW.
