Adhesive Gap & Bone Safety

The Extended Anatomic Platform geometry and patient-specific emergence profile position the adhesive interface as far away from the bone as possible. This reduces the risk of bone-level exposure to potentially toxic cement residues.

Recession Solution

If gingiva recedes and titanium becomes visible, the thin titanium shell can often be locally adjusted and polished – frequently within 5–10 minutes instead of requiring a complete remake.

EAP® Abutments are made of titanium only and built as a thin yet highly stable titanium shell ("bowl"). Titanium is in direct contact with the gingiva, while aesthetic material is protected behind titanium. The EAP geometry and emergence profile position the adhesive interface as far away from bone as possible, and a spring edge minimizes the adhesive gap. In case of recession, the shell can often be adjusted and polished—frequently within 5–10 minutes.
