Elasyn® PTFE suture

Elasyn® is a non-absorbable, undyed, monofilament suture made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) polymer and its properties make it particularly suitable for wound closure in oral and maxillofacial surgery. The smooth surface and suppleness of the thread improves handling and patient comfort.

Compared to standard braided sutures, Elasyn® offers lower bacterial adhesion.
