The Ultimate Protection for Low-Temperature Sterilization

Unlike standard medical paper, which cannot withstand the conditions of hydrogen peroxide plasma sterilization, our HILEX pouches utilize Tyvek®. Tyvek is a tough, highly porous material made of high-density polyethylene fibers. It allows rapid penetration of sterilizing gases while preventing the entry of microorganisms.

These pouches are essential for heat-sensitive instruments, endoscopes, and electronics that must be sterilized via low-temperature methods like Plasma (VH2O2) or EO gas.

Product Overview

The JPS HILEX Pouch is engineered for low-temperature sterilization methods. Manufactured with genuine DuPont™ Tyvek® material and a specialized clear film, it provides exceptional tear strength, rapid sterilant penetration, and reliable sterile barrier performance for Plasma (VH2O2) and Ethylene Oxide (EO) cycles.

  • Advanced Material: Made with DuPont™ Tyvek® (e.g., 1073B or 1059B) for superior strength.
  • Low-Temp Optimized: Specifically designed for Plasma/VH2O2 and EO gas sterilization.
  • Dual Indicators: Built-in chemical indicators for both Plasma and EO processes.
  • Exceptional Barrier: Unmatched microbial barrier protection post-sterilization.
  • Clean Peel: Opens smoothly without shedding particles, ensuring aseptic presentation.

Key Advantages

Tyvek® Superiority

Outstanding resistance to tearing, punctures, and moisture compared to medical paper.

Rapid Degassing

High porosity allows sterilizing gases to enter and safely exit (degas) quickly.

Integrated Indicators

Accurate, water-based chemical indicators for both Plasma and EO cycles printed directly on the pouch.

Aseptic Presentation

Engineered for a clean, fiber-free peel, ensuring instruments remain sterile during opening.

Low-Temp Safe

Materials will not degrade, melt, or emit toxic fumes during Plasma or EO sterilization.

Strong Sealing

Compatible with standard heat sealers, forming a robust, continuous barrier seal.
