IDactiv Instrument Disinfectant

A high-performance instrument disinfectant and cleaning solution designed for the reprocessing of used dental instruments. IDactiv is fully compatible with a wide range of commonly used dental instrument materials, offering both effective cleaning, disinfection and preservation of instrument integrity.

After thorough analysis, no signs of incompatibility were found in any of the instruments after the tests had concluded:

• No visible corrosion or pitting occurred on metal surfaces
• Any plastics / polymers showed no signs of warping, cracking, or degradation
• All Instrument markings remained clearly legible

Test Conditions

• 3 litre soaking bath (instrument tank)
• Highest recommended concentration of IDactiv solution (4% or 40ml per litre)
• Full 60 minute contact time per decontamination cycle
• Repeated cleaning and disinfection cycles over 9 days
• Each instrument had total exposure of at least 34 hours
