How Does an IVENEER Matrix Work?

After etching and bonding, the clear matrix is put over the tooth that needs to be fixed. Pressure is used to force a flowable composite material through the nozzle of the matrix to fill it all the way. After the material has hardened, the molds are taken off, leaving a perfect, shiny surface.

Key Characteristics

  • It's the only "true template" system on the market. It has great anatomy and symmetry, and you can make a mock-up to check the look and fit.
  • No or very little tooth preparation, so tooth structure is kept!
  • The only system that uses injectable composites without relying on lab work for wax-up and silicone molds!
  • Different sized and shaped teeth that look just like real teeth
  • The results do not depend on how good the dentist is, as they do with the traditional layering method.
  • One injection meets the needs for shape, isolation, gum contour, and proximal area.
  • Very fast, taking only minutes instead of the hours it takes to use traditional layering techniques.
  • Cuts down on sitting time.
  • Less stress for the dentist and his or her staff.
  • Highly profitable—increases the acceptance rate, the ability to do more dentistry, and the number of new patients. Very effective for the makeover patient! It's easier to change the color of your teeth with this method.

Applications

iveneer templates can be used in any situation where the back of the tooth needs to be rebuilt.

Application consists of:

  • Direct composite veneers
  • Mock-ups
  • Temporaries while lab workers are making porcelain veneers
  • Broken teeth and class V and IV fillings
  • As a stent to change the shape of the gums

Important Information

  • Compatible Composites: The matrices are compatible with any composite material that can flow.
  • Curing Light: With iveneer templates, you can use any light that cures.
  • Reusability: No! They can only be used once and can't be put in an autoclave.
  • Learning Curve: iveneer templates are easy to use because the shape of the template determines how the veneer will look. Like other matrix systems on the market, it is important to choose the right size and fit it so that the template doesn't change shape. The result of the veneer doesn't depend on how skilled the dentist is with his or her hands. Once the template is filled with flowable composite material and allowed to harden, the result is always the same, no matter who is doing the work.
  • Shine Durability: Because the templates are used as an oxygen barrier to stop the air-inhibited layer, the shine from iveneer lasts and looks like a natural tooth.

About IVENEER

Iveneer is the only injectable composite matrix system on the market that is protected by a patent and is a real template. Iveneer helps the dentist make beautiful direct composite veneers that last a long time and always have the same shape and size.

Dr. Itay Mishaeloff, running a private dental clinic since 2004, dedicated his career to mastering aesthetic restoration techniques using veneer coatings. After three years of dedication, research, and collaboration with Damir Ben Menashe, Dr. Mishaeloff introduced IVENEER—the world's first injectable veneer matrix.
