LEGASED natur - Oral Wound Dressing

LEGASED natur is a natural oral wound dressing that contains herbal ingredients such as myrrh, benzoin and colophony. In contact with water, the solution forms an effective and long-lasting film onto wounds, protecting them against chemical and mechanical irritations and promoting wound healing.

Formula:

LEGASED natur contains a balanced combination of natural resins on a vegan basis from: Myrrh, benzoin, rosin (colophony).

Myrrh | Originates from the Cammiphora-tree in the Near and Middle East. Astringent and tissue-firming properties improve adhesion to the oral mucosa.

Colophony | It is obtained from the resin of pine-, spruce- and fir-trees and adheres well to the oral mucosa and gums.

Benzoin | It is obtained from trees and shrubs of the Styrax genus in Thailand and Indonesia and is a fragrant resin.

Versatile Use:

• For the treatment of aphthous ulcers/canker sores, lesions and denture pressure points
• Mechanical protection: protects wounds against mechanical pressure and chemical irritation and relieves from existing pain
• Seals: reduces the ingress of harmful microorganisms and food debris into wounds
• Long-lasting adhesive power
• Supports wound healing

Application:

• After a meal or before going to sleep
• Dab the affected area dry for better adhesion
• Apply the solution generously with a cotton bud, pellet or fingertip, then rinse with water
• The contact with water leads to a thin membrane formation that protects the sore area in the mouth, like a plaster does

Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity to natural resins, especially colophony or one of the other ingredients.
