The MedStorm Pain Sensor is a wearable device that measures real-time pain and nociceptive stimuli via changes in skin conductance, reflecting skin sympathetic nerve activity (acetylcholine on muscarinic receptors).
Technical characteristics
Wireless sensor measuring sympathetic nervous system activity via skin conductance technology. Ultra-fast response time of 1-2 seconds. Bluetooth connectivity to monitors (Philips, Masimo), tablets or electronic medical records.
Target patient
All ages from 23 weeks of amenorrhea, including premature babies, sedated and non-sedated patients under anaesthesia, intensive care patients and post-operative recovery patients.

Accurate monitoring of intraoperative pain, in intensive care, post-operative recovery and neonatal care. Rapid detection of pain indicators and drug response.
