Rapid Stop for Safety

Rapid Stop Mechanism OptiAir is equipped with Rapid Stop Mechanism, which operates by incorporating a special flexible seal component on the bearing. This seal opens under air pressure when the air supply is on and automatically returns to its closed position when the air supply is off. This design enables the handpiece to stop quickly after operation, and has been proven to maintain this performance after 250 reprocessing cycles. OptiAir achieve bur stop in less than 1.66 seconds.

In conventional handpieces, after the dentist turns off the tool (stops the air supply), the bur continues to spin for up to five seconds due to inertia. During this time, the dentist must carefully hold the tool in place inside the patient's mouth to prevent injury to the gums or inner lips.

Zero-Suction

OptiAir achieves Zero-Suction by rapidly closing the seals in a very short period of time via the RSM, thus preventing bio-materials such as blood, saliva, etc. from entering the head.

Optimized Ceramic Ball Bearing

Utilizes optimized ceramic balls bearings, ensuring smoother and quieter operation. Providing reliable and consistent torque and overall improved efficiency for dental procedures.

Dynamic Balanced

Long-Lasting Clamping

DTL's 3 Points Spring Chucking mechanism that dynamically enhance the retentional force in proportion to the rotational speed, can reach up to 40N. Ensuring enhanced stability and precision at higher speeds.

Precise Concentricity

Utilizes chucking shafts with improved concentricity to ensure that the runout does not exceed 10 μm, thus further enhancing the stability and precision of the cartridge's operation.

Quick Swap Coupling

No need to unscrew the threads to replace the handpiece, the quick connection improves efficiency and saves you time.
