Direct attachments for implants

The OT PLUS system offers many solutions, depending on the prosthetic project, with the possibility of planning various types of overdenture treatments.

The DENTAURUM attachment is made from Eli grade 5 titanium with a nitride coating. This treatment provides a surface hardness of 1600 Vickers with less adhesion of plaque and bacteria and maximum resistance to wear over time.

The function of this attachment is guaranteed by the coupling between the hemisphere and the retention cap.

OT PLUS retentive caps are available in different colours corresponding to different levels of retention and must always be used with the appropriate metal housing to ensure maximum efficiency and ease of replacement both in the clinic and in the laboratory.

Each attachment is available in various gingival heights, depending on the implant platform, starting from a minimum of 0.5mm to a maximum of 7.0mm.

Dental clinic step by step procedure

1. Place the abutment on the implant using the designed square driver.
2. Silicone discs should be placed on the abutments, followed by nylon retention caps with the metal housing.
3. The denture is prepared to accept the female caps.
4. The female caps are gathered up and the silicone discs are removed. Excess acrylic is removed and the denture can be completed.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

• Each retention coping offers a duration up to 1 year in the patient's mouth (if the components are correctly placed in a parallel plane of insertion).
• To replace the copings, use the designed extraction tool and proceed to insert a new coping.
