Healthy gums are firm and pink. However, if it becomes inflamed and bleeds, deposits are usually to blame. If this so-called gingivitis remains untreated, bone and tissue break down and it is referred to as periodontitis – commonly known as periodontitis. This chronic inflammatory disease of the periodontium can lead to tooth loss in the long term.

High-risk patients with a weakened general condition are particularly frequently affected.

Mint - Benefit from the power of nature

Mint is one of the most popular herbs for a reason: it smells refreshing, has a healing effect and tastes delicious. Even the ancient Romans valued mint as a medicinal herb, spice and aphrodisiac. Peppermint, the best-known type of mint, was discovered by the British around 1700 and there are over 30 varieties worldwide.

Mint has pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory and cooling properties and is also helpful for bad breath. Due to these properties, parodur Liquid contains mint.

parodur Gel Lime and parodur Gel Mint contain the following plant extracts on a vegan basis:

• Comfrey (allantoin): This ancient medicinal plant is used to cleanse and heal wounds, has an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect and promotes blood circulation.
• Chamomile: The essential oil of chamomile has an anti-inflammatory effect thanks to the bisabolol it contains.
• Sage: Cares for and strengthens the gums and prevents inflammation in the mouth and throat.
• Thymol: Contained in thyme, is a strong disinfectant and thus acts against fungi and bacteria.

parodur Liquid

parodur Liquid supplements daily oral hygiene. The particularly well-tolerated mouth rinse is also suitable for patients with weakened defenses (high-risk patients). Used daily, parodur Liquid also supports caries prevention (contains fluoride and xylitol).

Our ready-to-use mouthwash solution is easy to use and long-lasting:

• 1 - 2 times a day after brushing your teeth
• Fill 10 ml of solution into the dosing cap
• Rinse thoroughly for approx. 30 seconds
• Do not rinse with water

Contains 0.03 % CHX (chlorhexidine) and 250 ppm sodium fluoride. No alcohol, no parabens. Suitable for high-risk patients with weakened general condition.

parodur Gel

parodur gel cares for your gums and effectively prevents gingivitis and periodontitis. The natural gel adheres excellently to the gums and oral mucosa – this is how it develops its particularly protective and caring effect.

parodur Gel is available in the flavors lime and mint. It's as simple as that:

• Massage in a lentil to pea-sized amount of gel for 1-2 seconds
• Use in the evening after brushing your teeth
• Once a week to once a day

Available in two flavors:

• Flavor lime (article no. 0032209) - 10 ml gel in a tube
• Flavor mint (article no. 0032210) - 10 ml gel in a tube

Contains CHX as a preservative (maximum 0.3 wt.% as pure CHX according to Cosmetics Regulation). No alcohol, no parabens. Minimum shelf life of at least 2.5 years from production.
