Vgi EVO Maxillofacial CBCT device
NewTom · source
VGi evo is a versatile, highly efficient device for the acquisition, processing and sharing of 2D and 3D diagnostic images. Thanks to cutting-edge technology, it ensures safety, comfort and precision, providing a complete range of FOVs up to 24 x 19 cm for extended diagnostics of the Head & Neck area.
Maximum flexibility
VGi evo supports a wide selection of examinations, including volumetric, panoramic, cephalometric and dynamic radiography acquisitions, ensuring detailed diagnosis in every clinical context.
3D scans and functions
Newtom VGi evo provides a complete range of FOVs to obtain clear, detailed 3D volumes that meet all clinical needs. Selecting the field of view allows you to optimise the anatomical region under investigation, ensuring high-quality imaging with the lowest possible dose.
Minimum radiation
In keeping with the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle, VGi EVO minimises the irradiated dose, adapting it to the area of interest to maximise patient safety.
Uncompromising diagnosis
For the most advanced investigations, Boosted and Enhanced modes provide images with the highest level of detail and quality, without compromise. HiRes mode, which can be used for FOVs up to 15 x 5 cm, is ideal for ultra-high-definition assessments of localised anatomical regions.
Excellent quality
Available on all FOVs, ECO Scan technology reduces irradiation by up to 50%, protecting patients and personnel without compromising diagnostic quality.
2D and Ceph scans and functions
Newtom VGi evo delivers ultra-precise panoramic and cephalometric examinations thanks to advanced technologies that improve diagnostic quality and optimise workflows.
Sharp 2D
The patented Sharp 2D function lets users obtain - with a single low-dose CBCT scan - a complete set of panoramic and ceph images (AP, PA and LL) that maintain the orthogonality and magnification typical of conventional techniques. Suitable for cephalometric and orthodontic investigations, it provides detailed images that allow reliable clinical assessments.
CineX
For dynamic scans, CineX mode lets users capture moving X-ray sequences (e.g. swallowing, salivary ducts, TMJ, cervical vertebrae) with a 17 x 19 cm field of view, allowing advanced analysis of anatomical structures. Videos can be processed with NNT Viewer or exported for immediate consultation.
Tools
Newtom VGi evo is designed to offer unrivalled ergonomics and stability during scanning, ensuring efficient workflows and accurate diagnosis.
Head support
The patented head support with 7 contact points aids natural patient positioning, while three laser lines and two low-dose scout images (latero-lateral and antero-posterior) allow for accurate checking of patient alignment.
Control Panel
The new large-display panel simplifies device control, allowing the user to adjust gantry height and activate the positioning lasers via a simple command.
Focus on patient health
Patient health has always been a Newtom priority: with VGi evo this commitment takes the form of a technological innovation that minimises X-ray exposure without compromising diagnostic quality.
SAFEBEAM™ (patented)
SafeBeam™ technology automatically adapts exposure parameters to the patient's anatomical characteristics, preventing any unnecessary irradiation and ensuring clear, detailed images with the lowest possible dose.
ECO Protocols
Available for all FOVs, ECO Scan mode can reduce the irradiated dose by up to 50%, making it ideal for follow-ups, paediatric patients or those who require frequent examinations.
Applied technology
To aid image management, NNT - Medical Suite software has an advanced, user-friendly interface that lets you perform, process and share 2D and 3D exams. It also has sophisticated tools that help plan treatment in the implantology, endodontics, periodontics, maxillofacial surgery and radiology fields. An integrated ecosystem for cutting-edge diagnostic management.
