Used for denture sores, suture sites, surgical wounds, oral ulcers (non-infected or viral), burns, traumatic wounds, periodontal surgical wounds, and extraction sites. Highly porous, highly absorbent matrix that holds up to 30x own weight in fluid. Greater than 90% open pores. Designed to resorb within fewer than 30 days. Adheres and provides coverage to oral wounds and sores. Porous, absorbable matrix supports new tissue growth.
