The Zygoma Minimally Invasive Technique, developed by Dr. Andrea Tedesco, introduces a cutting-edge approach to zygomatic implantology, utilising piezoelectric instruments. This method minimises tissue impact, ensuring precision in osteotomy site preparation while being less invasive than traditional techniques.

Surgical Procedure:

Maxillary Preparation:

• Create an implant bed along the vestibular wall of the maxillary sinus, extending from the alveolar crest towards the zygoma.
• Preserve the alveolar bone crest to maintain an optimal mucosal seal.

Crestal/Palatal Preparation:

• Initial access to connect the implant to the prepared bed.

Zygomatic Preparation:

• Work on the cortical bone of the zygomatic arch.
• Widen the site in crestal, palatal, and zygomatic areas using trunk-conical instruments.
